Not too bad, though it is a little generic to the extent that I feel like I have heard it a thousand times before I've even listened to it all the way through once. This could be a good thing as if I was looking for an RPG boss battle music loop and happened to stumble across this I'd use it, although it really doesn't stand out from the crowd.

scartheatre responds:

Yup, I was totally just playing with a simple melody and thought to make it a standard oldschool RPG battle theme. Glad you semi-dig it!

Firstly I like the name. I think that the intro is a little slow and could have dpone with a couple of seconds taking off it, also I don't think that this classes as grunge. All in all it wasn't too bad although I think that it could have benifited with a couple of more hours working on it.

thanks for the comment man, I can never figure out what genre I should put shit under. But about the song and stuff, it's actually the third part of a 3 piece improvised random little recording me and my bassist did when our singer couldn't come record, called "Dan and Jay's Carnival Fun Time" http://soundcloud.com/spiritofthewildfire/dan-and-jays-carnival-fun-time

Thank for the comment though man!

My first impression of the song was that of surprise with the almost techno start up to the song, I liked it though. When the guitar kicked in it reminded me of the sort of thing that would be at home in a later, softer Metallica song. This combined with the keyboard lead me to imagine it was something that Metallica and Rammstein would create if they were ever to collab on something, maybe a bit of Fear Factory thrown in there. A great song, well done.

DanJohansen responds:

Wow you analyzing is definitely interesting, and Metallica and Rammstein collabing would be very interesting XD Thanks for your kind words man, ROCK ON!

Good, the start seemed a little generic but then again it is a "general rock song". All in all though it was alright. At points it seemed like it didn't go anywhere and it stopped really abruptly. I would have said spend a bit more time working on this one.

I liked the sample at the start and I think this blended into the guitar very well. With the drums this reminds me of a kind of lighter Ziltoid by Devin Townsend. If I could have made any changes it would to have slightly less keyboard in there or maybe louder drums but I think that is down to personal taste. Keep it up and keep rocking mate.

DanJohansen responds:

Haven't heard Ziltoid by Townsend, I would def like to check it out, maybe link me via PM :)
Anyways, glad you like it! ROCK ON!

A Bit Late ;)

Yeah it's good and loops very well. Obviously I have to mark down slightly seeing as all of the music in the loop is from already made Christmas songs. But other then that it's good.

Not Bad, Man

I do like the general feel of this loop. I will possibly be using this in a Flash in the future. I'm not very good at talking about audios that I like so this may seem brief, but yeah............ it's good. Keep it up :).
