A nice bit of Dub.

Not really my genre and I haven't hear the original to compare but this seems like a great track. Gave me something chill to listen to whilst smoking and I can't ask for much more than that.

I'll be listening to the original next.

Keep it up.

PizzaKiller responds:

Thanks man

Who doesn't smile in their heart when they hear a mix of 8-bit and Dance. Personally I found the concoction to be a great listen. Bravo to you.

There isn't much I can think to point out techniqually about this other then I would have like it to have been longer but what do I know.

Well done.

Thank you for your positive comment.
I was really happy when I see I make someone happy. :)
Of course I will try to create more similar songs. Eventually.

I think it's a pretty good example of sampling. Takes me back to the early 00's when this sort of thing seemed to be everywhere. Never a bad thing.

At some points it sounds a little too grainy to my ear, though this could just be me and at 1:10 there's a Tatu sample that I don't think is working, it's also repeated later.

Nothing much more to comment on.
It's not bad at all.

Ikerion responds:

Can't disagree

It seemed like pretty good melodic rock at the begining and I was about to give up on it when the guitar kicked in. Lyrics are okay, and it kept my attention all the way through after that. Reminds me of a softer Metallica with maybe some influences from instrumental folk rock.

Nothing really much to point out. I would have lkiked it to be heavier but that's a personal preference thing. I think it's earnt 4/5, why not.

A nice track. Sometimes the piano feels like it could use a could of re-thinks, for example 00:15 - 00:24 is great but I feel that the cut in with the piano that follows is a little too harsh and could have been more flowing to keep with the preceding bit.

Very little to pick at here though as it's a good audio.

Stereocrisis responds:

Thanks Decky. Much obliged. Cheers.

A pretty cool loop.

It feels like it would be at home in modern take on an upbeat, retro classic. A new Ice-Climbers perhaps. There's an idea in there somewhere, I can feel it.

I can't really think of a way it could be improved as it seems to fit its purpose perfectly. High praise, yes, but doesn't make for a lengthy review I'm afraid. So...Pat on the back and all that, keep it up. Hope to hear more soon.

SuperBastard responds:

Thanks for the review; a little praise goes a long way!

I can't really fault it. It's pretty much what it set out to be, an upbeat, cheery and distinctly electronic tune. No more, no less. In a good way. Personally, I can see it being used by someone to put over their credit sequence or the like. Hopefully somebody will come across it.

All appears good and I can't hear anything of concern.
Good job.

Thank you very much for your review Decky!!
I'm glad you like it! :)

Simply my favorite audio track on Newgrounds.

The idea of writing a song about a date at McDonalds is inspired and by that I do mean that I wonder what it is that you were taking when you came up with the concept. My bet would be on something strong and not necessarily cheap.

One thing that I would add is that I'd like to hear you record something that is song length. I think you could come up with a few funny verses and a chorus. Could be a laugh.

Keep it up, I'm sure you will.

A nice trance jingle, I call it "jingle" as it is currently a little short to be classed as a full song in my opinion but that is just my opinion. I felt that the strong start made it feel like you were walking into a club just after a drop, missing the build up. I'm not sure this is a good thing, maybe consider adding a build up for a while before this and relegating this to just the main meat and potatoes of the track.

For what is here it's of a good quality with just the right amount of business to keep the listener interested but I would neaten up the editing to get rid of the silence at the end, which goes on for just a bit too long. Especially as this isn't a loop.

All in all it's a good start. I'd keep editing and adding more and see where you get with this.

Not bad, it reminded me of something that would be in some kind of overly epic Scooby-Doo style corridor chase. I can easily see this being used by somebody to liven up a cut scene or maybe over the menu for a game.

The only thing that I would say is it's a shame that this wasn't released around Halloween. I know it's a small, insignificant problem but these things always come of better around that time of year.

Vierarmig responds:

Thank you for the review!
May be I misunderstood the rules but this track was composed for a real game which was already released (I compose music for concrete games). This game was released exactly around Halloween, 2014. Now, i just posted my works disregarding themes.
